Re: delicate subject
Yes but Carla, pioneer women were raised to believe a woman's place was
barefoot and pregnant, that a woman's opinions on any subjects other than
childbirth or food preparation were inconsequential, that because of this the
notion that women should vote was rediculous (although since recent polls
indicate that 52% of american women think Clinton has been a good prez
perhaps that notion isn't as far fetched as I believe it to be . . .), and
that a woman's appropriate place was one step behind, and much preferably in
the shadow of, a man. Don't think I'd want to go back to those days.
I've learned some useful info from this discussion that I was not
previously aware of. It will help me on endurance rides. Isn't that the
idea of this list? (How we gonna e-mail everyone who might get use out of
this info privately? We don't even know who they all are!)
How come so many folks out there have trouble finding there delete keys?
Sheesh.
<< out of work. Do you think the pioneering women would say to their husbands
"babe sorry can't sow any wheat today I am cramping."
Ladies this is a woman thing keep it among the women. If you want to hear
the results then ask to be posted privately. Where has the manners gone??

Rob *shaking head at stuff discussed here on RC. >>
