On another note: for those of you whom are in your forties and do not 
have the
time off  for a hysterectomy there is a new procedure out there. It is
call a D and C
with uterine ablation. This procedure takes about 15 minutes from start
to finish and
will reduce or stop your periods altogether. Without complications most
women go home that same day. Time off from riding or work is one week.
Ask your gynecologist for more information on whether you would be an
appropriate 
patient for this procedure.
