Hi Jinnifer!  I did send him some energy.  Unfortunately, my crop wasn't long 
enough and I had to settle for bopping his horse on the nose.  That did make 
him back off (the horse, not the rider).  Eventually, he blasted past me and 
my friend who was ahead of me.  Later on that same trail a horse and rider 
fell off the trail and got stuck in heavy brush in a ravine.  I was very 
disappointed to learn it wasn't my "Tailgateing buddy".  Sometimes there just 
isn't any justice, eh?
