When I'm sort of in control, I sit perpendicular to the ground. Probably
ever so slightly out of the seat, trying to effect him as little as
possible. When he's got it right, it's no problem. None of that Man
From Snowy River stuff. The only time I'd get behind the horse a little
is if he has to jump off a bank, then you sort of have to let your lower
half go with him and the upper half follows soon thereafter. When I get
it wrong, I sometimes end up horizontal *on* the ground. >g<
