Well, that one horse case in Washington was bat rabies. OTH, it was one case
in 40 years. Other than imported animals virtually all cases of rabies in
Washington are bat related and that includes human of which there is an
occassional case. That does not mean all bats need to be exterminated, but I
sure as hell don't want them in my house. A couple of years ago, they had to
exterminate a colony from the Governor's mansion in Olympia.
