Re: RC: delicate subject
Hey Maggie, you know me, I'll talk about anything. My answer: first two
days, I don't ride. Period. (Oops, no pun intended . . .). Hey, I ride to
have fun, and at that time of the month, it ain't fun, it's just a pain. I
read a good book, instead.
What would I do if a ride I'd spent a lot of time preparing for
co-incided with that time of the month? Don't know, it's not come up yet.
Cross that bridge when I ever get to it. (I do keep calender track of the
thing, and try to schedule activities around it.)
Yeah, it's a bummer. But there could be a worse fate Maggie . . . we
could've been born MEN!!!! <beg>

While I am in the mood for learning, I have one more burning, embarrassing
question that I keep wishing someone ELSE would ask but they NEVER do!
So...I figure I will jump in with both feet and just ASK since we have been
quite personal with the guys about their comfort. So far, I have been
lucky and the rides I have attended have been during the right "time of the
month" so I haven't really had to worry about being at a ride and taking
care of this. But I am really not willing to consider giving up a ride due
to my monthly cycle...I would appreciate hearing from you gals how you deal
with this comfortably, especially on a fifty and especially if you have
particularly heavy flow. I'd like to suggest that you reply privately but
I know there's gotta be someone else (coward) who wants to know but is
afraid to ask, too! :) So group, how do we manage THIS one? :)
