Much as I detest the practice, the threat of a lawsuit might make all the
idiots do a half-halt, just like on the highway only MUCH more likely to be
caught.  Guarantee you I'll make those noises if some fool interferes with
my mount and my safety in that fashion.  It could be useful to advertise the
reckless rider's liability angle at the ride.  Probably would dampen the
camaraderie and the genial atmosphere somewhat, but might be worth it as a
pilot project.  Might even station a volunteer photographer/camcorder at
those bad bottlenecks to make the identities and the behaviors public record.
