Sorry Lif, but I have to disagree with you. Our parks are under increasing
demand. Some sort of regulations as far as where/when/how you camp HAVE to
be made. Do I LIKE it? No way. Do I support it? You bet. It protects the
QUALITY of the experience for those of us who are willing to step up to the
plate and play by the rules. PLUS the big issue here (IMO) is that the RM
CHOSE to ignore and not inform riders of a long standing (at least a year)
policy by the Forest service. Apparently there were other areas to camp --
why not go there? Its nice to say "I'm a rebel, and I'm not gonna abide by
the rules" Unfortunately, when you do that, you just screw everybody over
who follows behind you.
