Re: RC: Fwd: Fw: [Fwd: FW: Help Ban ORV's in National Parks]

OK Ridecampers, I can't sit back and watch this go on any longer. If you
are of the opinion that kicking (ORV's) out of our National Parks and National
Forests is going to have a positive impact for equestrians, you are dead
wrong. First its the ORV.s, next it auto's, then boats of all kinds, then
horses and then hikers, bikers, and bird watchers. It is my strong belief
that
there is room out there for all of us to enjoy the great out doors. Wouldn't
we all be better off working together to find ways for everyone to enjoy our
Forests instead of just kicking certain groups out? Think about this very
hard. We are in a fight for our lives in keeping our trails. There are 6
primary National Forest Areas where our trails are now threatened. Lets back
off the ORV bashing and stick to an agenda that will work. We will partner up
with all of the users out there and demonstrate that there are ways to use and
enjoy our trails in a sound manner with conservation as a top priority. Jerry
Fruth, Chairman AERC Trails Committee
