Re: Fw: Re: Getting Pulled
it doesn't matter *who* pulled, rider or vet, what matters is the *reason*.
If you decide to pull because the horse isn't eating, that is, appropriately
(correctly) a metabolic pull, same if the CRI is up..... what else would you
call it?????? If your horse has a stone bruise, that is a lameness.
I don't think that buyers will be put off by an *occasional* incident.
(especially if you save the vet sheet to show them that it was a minor
incident). I think that Very, very few (high mileage) horses have a 100%
completion and people understand that and appreciate the horse not being
pushed too hard. KUDOs to those few horses and their rider/managers!!!
I think that potential buyers deserve to know the horses *whole* history,
not just what the seller wants them to know.

From: Louise Burton <firedancefarms@prodigy.net> PULLED LAMENESS or PULLED
METABOLIC next to their horse's names. They were > very surprised...and
very angry...as they pulled themselves as a rider > option. > Do you want
PULLED METABOLIC splashed all over everywhere when you decided > your horse
wasn't eating well, or maybe his CRI was 12/14?
