    Sadly John is right.  What you sell your horse for is always less 
    than you want and more than the buyer wants to pay but either way 
    it very rarely goes anywhere near to the true cost of the 
    horse.
     
    Which is why those of us breeding horses need our heads seeing to 
    because not only do we accept this but we carry on and on and 
    on.........Gotta be mad.
