I got a kick out of the stallion "rape". I haven't seen a stallion yet
who could get near the rear end of a mare who wasn't willing! We once
had a big name trainer who asked that we move our stallion to another
stall (and we had only rented 2 while he had a whole row) because our
stallion was "bothering " his show mare who happened to be in heat on
the other side. I pointed out to Mr. "G" (not Gallun) that our stallion
was in his stall 2 days before his mare arrived and that he was
perfectly fine until she started screaming and squirting at their common
wall to which Hal just whinnied sweet nothings to her. The boy was a
perfect gentleman considering the circumstances. He moved his mare.
