sponging compromise

For those that still prefer to use community
drinking tanks for dipping sponges - why not carry
a large ziploc bag and fill it with water - then
plunge your sponge into it...........perhaps a bit
too much work? Seems to me this would provide a
solution that achieves everyone's goals...........
