I would be tempted to allow her to grow up and leave her alone.  She's just a 
baby, not matter what she may appear to be.
    If you must "work" her, keep the sessions extremely short (ten to fifteen 
minutes) and ask simple things that she can easily accomplish, thereby 
imparting some confidence through her "accomplishment" of easy tasks, not by 
throwing a fit.
    Always end on a good note and in quiet tones.
    The slower you go, the faster you'all will get there.
