25-50
How should conditioning/training change if a person wants to go from riding
25s to 50s? I have my first 30 miler with my gelding (he'll be 7 in May) in
June, hope to do another in August and September (with continued
conditioning of course in between). Assuming all goes well up to that
point, what should I do differently to get ready for a 50? Or should I
stick to LDs for a while, as he is only almost 7? Thanks for any input.
