a horse for the tevis

I'm registered to ride in the Tevis 2000, but my horse has come up lame and the vet says he may never race again. I am looking for a horse that can go the distance with good recovery times. I'm an experience endurance rider;I weight train,run and ride bikes and am in great shape at 6 feet,173 lbs , with tack I weigh in at about 195lbs. Will make it a good experience for your horse.
