Annette,
It may be that they were just used to people trying to get through as
quickly as possible. But if the vets weren't busy right then, it would have
helped ride management for you to vet on through in case another group rode
in just as you decided you were ready.
It is also easier to keep track of people that way. And, even though you had
met the pulse criteria, there is still a time limit by which your horse must
pass the ENTIRE vet exam. (Usually 30 min, sometimes 20). Management hates
to see people get "lost" in the shuffle!!
