RE: saddle pads
I have both the double thick woolback and triple thick woolback in the
shorter english nap. The triple is too thick and I never use it. JMHO

Subject: RC: saddle pads
Hello,
Ok, the time has come to replace the saddle pad that came with my used
Synergist saddle. It's getting pretty squashed and I'd rather have
something that is a little larger than an exact fit anyhow. I still need to
measure to figure out what style of pad is right, but I know I'm leaning
toward a Woolback, I'm guessing a barrel style will fit.
My mare is also prone to being sensitive and building up tension along her
back muscles, so I think I want something thicker than I currently have. My
question is how thick should I go - I see double thick and triple thick
advertised. But I don't think I want something so thick that I'm feeling
removed from the horses back. Is a triple thick that kind of thick?
Anything else I should be thinking about?
Thanks,
Marlene
