My local feed store has a new electrolyte in a liquid form.  One would have 
to administer it directly by syringe, or pour it into water or over feed.  
Any of the above methods could result in waste.  I have no idea how potent 
they are  - adequate for the job?  I haven't tried them.  Anyone who is 
interested, ask me and I'll get a brand name and contents.
