Re: RC: Trailer floors
Use salt treated lumber and leave little gaps in between the boards for
"stuff" to run out. Beware, when I pulled out the old floorboards, the metal
floor supports, which looked OK from underneath, turned out to be pretty bad.
The steel to fix it was cheap, but the labor might not be if your riding
buddy doesn't happen to own a body shop ! Also, undercoat the metal before
putting the new boards in. Fun, huh? But I just like my '73 "one horse slant
aka 2 pony" trailer so much better than those fancy aluminum things!
