New Member Introduction

Hi All,
I have been lurking for a few months now. Since I know some of you I thought 
I would give an introduction. I started endurance riding about 18 years ago. 
I put around 1200 miles on an Appy mare and about 400 on an Arab gelding. 
Both did fairly well. I was forced to quit due to knee problems and surgery 
and lost my Arab gelding to an abdominal aneurysm. At present I have a 1/2 
Arab, 1/2 Quarter horse mare that I drive and trail ride. I am going to try 
and condition her for a slow 25 this year. Will never race her as she is 
driving horse supreme, and I never want her in "racing" mode. I also have a 2 
year old Morgan filly that I am training to drive. I would be one of those 
back of the pack persons having lost my competitive streak and glad of it. I 
rejoined the local endurance club in order to help promote their efforts and 
to enjoy the great trails we have in Idaho. See ya in camp front runners!
