IAHA CTR April 8, Sunol, CA - Qualifying Ride

Arabian Trail Riders Assn is sponsoring a 25-mile IAHA local competitive
trail ride next Saturday, April 8, at Sunol Regional Park, Sunol, CA.   This
is a qualifying ride for those of you interested in doing the Region 3
Championship Competitive Trail Ride on May 13.  There is no horsemanship
judging on IAHA rides.

In addition to the 25-mile qualifying ride, there will be a 15-mile ride for
those of you with young horses who would like to get them exposed to the
competitive trail/overnight camping experience in a group situation.  Horses
must be at least four years old to enter the 15 mile ride, five years old
for the 25-miler.

Sunol Regional Park is BEAUTIFUL this time of year with lots of green grass
and wildflowers.  The ride travels through Little Yosemite along a lovely
creek with waterfalls, fascinating rock formations, and, of course, the "W"
tree!

Ride management will provide continental breakfast Saturday morning for both
divisions.  Awards dinner for the 25-milers is included in the entry fee.
15-milers can purchase the dinner if desired.

Check-in starts Friday, April 7 around 3 pm.
