Standards on the TRAIL
WEll, i used to get hair bands in each color to put in Aly's tail. He was
just fine, but I wanted to give plenty of warning. WORKED TOO! He didn't
kick when mounted, but he was green on trail (not to saddle) and was a
stallion. I'd put ribbons in a stallion's tail regardless... it gives you
more space to deal with issues, and if there are no issues, then the
space makes sure there won't be one.

> Imagine what a green stallion who kicked & bit would look like!
> Fortunately, the stallions that went out were well behaved. (phew!)
