Flymasks act like sunglasses - they are a good idea in sunny areas.  I
think the Farnam supermask is about the best.  I have also been known to
slather cheap sunscreen on horse butts when it's raining a lot to help
replace the oil washed out of their coats.  Zinc oxide works great on
white noses.  Surfer dudes!
