stock trailer doors

I have a stock trailer with a wide door that opens to the right.  My husband
put an oval hook near the middle of the back of the door.  Whenever I want
to hold the door open, I use a strong bungy cord to attach this hook to the
frame that holds my spare tire.  Works like a charm.
