I have friends who have both.  The Skyhook people say it is a much better 
system because of the guy wires.  My installer pointed out one thing I had 
not thought of and that was that it requires more holes in the trailer and 
weakens it somewhat, although not that much he admits.  He also feels that 
the horse could probably bend it but not break it.  However, as we all know, 
horses can ruin just about anything....maryben
