Re:  the telling of Howard's story----He IS a writer---and what writer, no
matter how anguished, can resist telling the WHOLE story with all its
embellishments - give them a blank page and they have a compulsion to fill
it.   It's all or nothing.   There are a lot of you who can be quite
succinct and to the point---an admirable quality when called for--but yours
are not the posts I go back to read again and again.   This is NOT a
criticism of being succinct---someone has to do it (grin).   It is just not
my calling, nor obviously Howard's.   I have a friend who if I ask "How was
the ride?" - I get a one-word answer.   Ask me, and you get a long
dissertation.   Ask Howard---well, we know that answer don't we??
