I fenced my property, 17 acres a year ago with the 1/2 tape and it has been wonderful. My horses(a stud colt, mares and geldings) all respect it and I have had no trouble besides if they did go through it at least I wouldn't have hundreds of dollars worth of wire cuts and damage to deal with. As far as the wind goes, there is NO PLACE on earth that gets the wind that we do in this part of Wyoming and it has held up beautifully. I used the PVC sleeves over t-posts and it flaps some but it stays secure and I have only had to tighten them once. We just had a blizzard here with 3-4 foot snow drifts and high winds and the fence has held up fine. I would recommend it to anyone!
