I have a wintec AP 500 with the adjustable tree. The tree is really a quite
thin normal tree wiht a metal gullet at the front. this is covered by the
saddles exterior. To access the gullet to change it you unscerw the top of
the saddle ( riders side) from the bootm (horse side) and slip a new gullet
in. It works just fine . i have a cob who takes the extra wide pre seson and
wide gullet once fit. Works fine for me.
heard elss favorable reports from the adjustable gullets with allen keys
though.
