I have been reading some of these posts about clipping and blanketing and such...our horses are out 24/7. They don't get blanketed unless I notice someone seems to have a chill, maybe they've gotten wet and are shivering. We have temps at 20 degrees below zero in the winter. Our horses are pretty healthy. In fact, when I try to blanket them, they want it OFF!!! It rarely even stays on overnight!! Maggie Mieske Mieske's Silver Lining 10601 S. Richards Rd.
