progesterone implants for mares

Does anyone have experience with using these in mares that have a really
rough time with their heat cycles?  Is there a particular brand that anyone
can recommend?  My poor young mare is extremely
miserable/angry/uncomfortable when she's 'in'.  The vet doesn't think the
mare has cysts or other aggravating conditions.  The vet has not ordered
them before, hence my inquiry on recommended brands.

I thank you, and I am sure my mare Sarena, the 'Princess In Her Own Mind',
would thank you if she could.  ;-)
