Thanks much for your viewpoint. Since I have been able to keep them close, I
have been reluctant to take this approach. I have had the same advice from
Tom Stovall and asking Doug Butler precisely the question as to whether this
was a good idea, he said a definate yes. Now one question. What do you do
while the horse has too low angles after whacking the heel - wedge pads,
wedge shoes or give up riding?
