I think I'm going to have to disagree with you there -- they always seem
grateful for the "excuse" to stop and take a breather. A couple have even
asked if I'd circle around so they could stop again!! But, really, anymore
my horses don't care whether the bike is moving or stopped, so I usually
yell to them that they can keep on coming, and don't have to stop -- and,
you're right, I think they appreciate that.
