The problem is the driver may not be able to see the trailer. If you drive a
truck with a wide camper on top or wide motor home you may not be able to
see much of your trailer. So tire/wheel/axel problems can go unseen. Can be
a very serious problem!!!! There are really a lot of reasons to not use a
motor home for endurance ride towing.

YES!
I have friends who tow this way. One night I followed them home from a
ride. One of their trailer bearings went dry, overheated and began throwing
sparks onto the road. They were completely unaware of the problem. I hate
to think of what might have happened had I not been behind them. When they
stopped a fire broke out in that wheel! Horse drinking water put out the
fire, horses were unloaded, etc. and all ended well.
I also heard of a blowout being undetected.
Without a camera system to observe the trailer, I do not think this is safe.
