raingear (answers to questions)

Hi, everyone!
Several people have emailed me with questions about the rainsuit I ordered
from Campmor. I will try to answer them all here. In my Holiday 99 Campmor
Catalogue, the suit is on page 38. It is the lightweight backpacker II rain
jacket and the lightweight backpacker rain pants. They are $29.99 and
$19.99. Each folds up into its own pocket, fitting into my cantle bag. They
are waterproof. I have ridden 25 miles in heavy downpour in them several
times in the last year and a half. They kept me dry except for my own sweat
in warmer weather. I am very happy with them. They fit over summer or winter
clothes. I even used the jacket at the Pan Am ride last summer when we
started out in a light rain. They have been through the washer several times
and are still waterproof.
