But have you tested them in  adownpour or steady rain over 50 miles?  After 
Goethe, I'm not sure there is gear that will keep anyone dry for 50 miles.

[Karen Sullivan]  -That is what I bought several years ago. After the first year, they ceased to work.....stopped being waterproof.
