What I did first was to have it "happen" at home. I hooked on easyboot like is had come off with attached cord and walked my horse around. He was a bit jumpy at first but then it was ok. I have had them come off at a fast trot with no problem. You can tell when it comes off by different gait or some other signal from horse, or even rider behind will say something. It is alwasy best to try anything new at home. Keri
